The current problems are all the fault of the Turks since 1571, so Grivas, EOKA, EOKA B and all the other extreme nationalists have not contributed to current problems. Blaming one side only seems very racist

Try that logic with blaming the Germans for WWII. Were people racist for blaming Hitler when he invaded other countries? NO. They were stating facts. Same with blaming Turks for invading Cyprus.

Hitler had many excuses too. It doesn't mean he was right, and nor is Turkey.

Bringing Hitler into the debate is a good choice as Nicos Sampson, whose actions supported by the Greek Colonels led to the Turkish intervention, and Hitler were both right-wing fascists. Sampson was a known Turk hater and would have committed genocide if he had not been deposed.

Turks suffered a genocide!!!!Is this the new joke? The first teacher on genocides (as nation) suffered one themselves?!!!!Turkish propaganta, many times, sounds like a very bad song.Maybe they can apply to USA and EU for recognision of this genocide and ask compensasion from the Greeks of Cyprus.I will not be surprised to see even that to happen.

Now don't jump to conclusions GR! The man said there "WOULD" have been one (a "possible one" that is).

I think he was hedging his bets on getting away with a semantic, and a logical, ambiguity.

What do you presume would have happened to the TC minority under an EOKA-B government? And what is your evidence to suggest Sampson was not a fascist Turk hater but would have held his hands out to the TC in peace

You obviously cannot bring yourself to criticise EOKA-B for creating the situation which allowed Turkey to intervene. Division of populations started in the 1950's and 1960's but that was okay because it largely only involved TC.
