Does that also include your wife in the "Tour Operators"?

They are only doing it by the grace of the RoC and their total stupidity and gutless actions to stop it.

Supporting the illegal regime is giving into them. The RoC needs to take action now and fine/imprison these "Tour Operators" who send people to the dark side.

Anyway, had it with you guys, am off to bed, nite nite.

Oh and I am glad you can laugh about it Sam. I think Oracle must be singlehandedly responsible for the low number of 'active' members on this forum. She is certainly responsible for chasing a lot of interested newbies off.

The moderators let her get away with insulting people and swearing at them all the time (I heard she used to live in the gorbals, Glasgow, it shows!)

Amuses me.

Dear friend,
Thank you for your suggestions. I will absolutely tour the TRNC after I have stayed few days in Larnaca.

I was just wondering because I arrive late evening and propably I should take take taxi to the bprder crossing and then walk through.

I did research that there is buses leaving from Filoxenia (Cyprus Hotel and Catering Institute) to the Larnaca
0:00 and 0215 KAPNOS BUSES - Tel.: 77 77 14 77

Do you think that two hours is enought for me to get to the bus stop / other side of the green line? Does the border crossing usually take for long time?

What border crossing should I ask the cab driver to take me?

Thank you so much for everyones help.

Lokmaci is the best one. It is about 45 minutes to one hour from the airport. You walk across in 10 minutes. 2 hours is plenty of time to get to the bus stop. There are plenty of taxis outside Ercan airport. I can't believe that at this day and age you are not allowed to take a Taxi from the airport and go to your destination where ever it may be both north and south. We live in hope that there will be no border soon.

Do you have any credible evidence for that? Or does it coincide with the increase in your drivelling posts?

And if you can get away with carrying out illegal activities, I can sure as hell tell you to fuvk off!

Or just another sure sign that her cage is well and truly rattled.

Do yourself a favour and at least know when to give up.

Gasman wrote:Oh and more terrible bad REALITY CHECK news for you Oracle. Sometimes the planes from the UK to Ercan do not touch down in Turkey (shock! horror! gasp!) and I know people who've flown on them from Stanstead and heard of many others (talking to holiday makers in the TRNC).

They just circled a bit. I think they can change flight numbers while in the air.

Don't tell me the RoC powers that be don't know all these things. Not if little ole me does lol!

I have flown DIRECT and NON-STOP to Ercan from Stansted several times. They usually ask all the people going to TRNC to get on one plane and the others going to Turkey to get on the other, which takes off at a similar time.
The one with the passengers to TRNC flys direct and Non-stop and saves an hour as well as a shit-load of fuel.
Now, are you going to tell me that ATC in Stansted doesn't know that this goes on? They do know but they couldn't care less. Also the GC agents in Stansted know it goes on but they can't get all the wonderful laws Orifice keeps quoting to apply. So I guess all these marvelous resolutions about Ercan airport are just total BS.

Dear friend, sorry to bother you with so many questions :)

So how long you think the total trip from Ercan to Larnaca will take maximum?
Is Lokmaci really 45min to 1hour from airport? It seems like it is so much closer in the map..

Either by bus or taxi?

Thank you.

I am not sure about the bus operation times. May be a night u can stay in Saray Hotel which is so close the Lokmaci check point and next morning u can walk across in 10 munites as YFred says. ıt will be much better with my opinion. Take a taxi from airport to Saray Hotel and have a nice holiady.
here is the link for Saray Hotel
http://www.northcyprus.net/hotelindex.php?hotel_id=84

for single bed and breakfast they charge 60 Euro.

by coming from Amsterdam-Istanbul-ERCAN u will not have any problem.Every year i goto IBC Amsterdam i never had any problem. On my ticket also says ERCAN-ISTANBUL-AMSTERDAM
