I worry about Limassol. :(

Limassol is the least Cypriot city/town of all ... don't you think?

Love Lim.
Its an outlaw city refusing to conform to the islands resident donkey mentality.

I've always said, Lim should've been the Dubai of the Med.
Trillions in foreign investment, prime location for mega corporation's offshore headquarters.
Playground for billionaires.

Wargaming Global HQ almost complete in Nicosia.
Scaffolding needs to be removed.

And yes, it will look a tad different to the original renders.
Wargaming didn't want the 'sail' look.
Nonetheless, a little gem by Zenonos and Associates.

No!

Sometimes you have to actually do something in the name of progress and people need economic activity.

In my opinion, there is a lot more that can be done. Cyprus is ideal for Theme Parks and family orientated entertainment and tourism. It should have been made into something similar to Abu Dhabi and Dubai in my opinion.

The only problem I see are the Russians. I am sure some are good, but I just can't stand them. Has anyone asked themselves how a few managed to get so rich when only 20 years ago they were all living in Commy Style Flats?

And I can’t stand shallow criminal garbage like Australians and Americans but I do recognise their right to exist… far away from Cyprus.

Limassol was always "different" compared to the rest of Cyprus. Its citizens had a reputation as bon viveurs, more extrovert than the rest of us. There are also some negative interpretations of these qualities but we leave those for now.

Last year I made an effort to visit the marina, to see the "yachts" that are moored there as per the advertising hype. Boats, not yachts, filled the marina, as I had suspected. The restaurants and cafes are outlets of international brands like TGI. Pop stars are reputed to have bought apartments in the housing units of the marina.

Guys, this aint gonna work with the international yachting set. Cosmopolites or not, Lemessiani are not getting it. So they are not that different from the rest of us after all!
