I'm of the impression that most of the Limassol coastline has already been tarnished by the existing 5/6 floor fuglies, basically a long row of hideous commie blocks, blocking out the rest of the city.
The buildings behind these fuglies have never had 'views' to the sea or scenery to begin with.
The new tall buildings(although they look sh** loads nicer' will only break up the monotonous drawl of the Lim coastline in certain places.

Funny, no one was complaining when the fuglies were being erected...

Nice, but I would have preferred if such buildings offer some facilities for the general public as well. Like the Shakolas Tower in Nicosia that has an observatory on the top floor. Or the Twin Towers in New York which you could visit and go to the roof and see the views from there. Or maybe some restaurant at the very top... The way they make them now is just residential buildings for the super-rich, most of them non-Cypriot, and the rest of us can just look at them from the outside. Still better to look at a nice building than some ugly one.
