An architect friend of mine told me that plans for 44 Skyscrapers were submitted for Limassol! According to him the government has decided to limit the purchasing of land by foreigners and instead make it more attractive for them to buy apartments and offices in high rise buildings. In order for somebody to build a skyscraper, apart from a special permit, they also need to buy "build factor" which is purchased from owners of listed buildings (διατηρητέα)... and I think "build factor" is/will be given to refugees also.

...as i have suggested, 20.4 million people is Cyprus' population, sooner than we think.

"Greeks" will represent a much smaller "majority" on the island; Greek, like Turkish, if spoken will be for the kefi, some kind of National pride, English, as it is around the world today, will be mostly spoken (and written).

Cypriot Constituencies, and enclaves spotting the island, will have a much larger relevance to Cypriots who are interested in sustaining its ethnos. Cities will choose to differentiate themselves, although the population will be more densely packed in any case. Nature in harmony with this growth cannot be taken lightly either. One hopes that instead of fighting each other, Cypriots apply themselves to adapt successfully to a quickly changing and mobile world.
