Heeey!

Im new to this so just thought id say hi!

Im Jen, 24 from Glasgow, wanting to move to Cyrpus within the next few months to work for a while.... But just wondered where is the best place to go for gays/lesbians?! Is there one particular area that is best than the next for gay bars etc?

Any info much appreciated!

Hiya, thanks for the welcome Im looking for bar work...i know i havent picked the best time but its just the way things have worked out with my job here. If it comes to it, ill hang back here for a while until the start of next year and try get a job for the start of summer and hopefully theyll keep me on longer but i dont know!

If you are looking for bar work, then you can pretty much go anywhere. But the main hot spots would be Ayia Napa for seasonal work, Limassol and Paphos.

You could also go to Nicosia, but there is not much nightlife there. Nicosia is where all the geriatrics live.

Your saying seasonal work, summer etc... What about winter though? Take it theres just not much going? What about renting places? Flatshare etc? Would obviously be easier renting with someone

Rent here is alot cheaper than uk eg 1 bed apart approx 250/300 in paphos with communal pool ....

Seasonal work would be available at Agia Napa, over the tourist season or summer months. Limassol is probably your best bet in the winter.

You should still be able to find bar work in winter, but the entire island is much quieter!
