Two guys were lost in the desert and had run low on food and water,
as they crawled up yet another sand dune one said to the other 'Can you smell bacon'?
The other said 'Yes I think so'!
They crawled as fast as they could to the summit of the dune and looked down. To their amazement they could see a tree, instead of leaves there were glistening rashers of bacon festooning the trees branches.
The stronger of the two said 'Wait here' I'll go make sure its not a mirage'
With that he started running downhill towards the tree.
He was halfway down the dune when bullets started whizzing around him, he shouted to his friend ' TAKE COVER, IT'S NOT A BACON TREE; IT'S AN AMBUSH' |
