As well attracting throngs of tourists on cheap flights to Larnaca each year, Cyprus is also becoming a bit of a hot-spot for UFO sightings. This has given rise to the cheeky notion from locals that the island is so beautiful that it even attracts visitors from out of this world.

A couple of weeks ago, there was numerous sightings of an orange light passing slowly through the sky before apparently drifting over a hill, only to be seen by other holidaymakers and locals further down the coast.
“It was beautiful and mesmerizing”

Even the party crowd in Ayia Napa claimed to see a similar orange object hanging in the air. One onlooker, enjoying a holiday in Cyprus, said:

“It was beautiful and mesmerizing. It was fairly high in the sky and moved with no sound, it also had a beautiful white aura."

There has been a notable increase in UFO sightings on the island in recent years with many people escaping to the Troodos Mountains, for some adventure and shade, claiming to see UFO’s in the sky.

So, with visitors of a very different kind hovering over Cyprus, you might find cheap flights to Larnaca or Paphos out of this world.

Not surprised the party crowds in Napa see UFOs.

Well I did wonder if it was one of our 'red moons' they'd spotted! Quite a frequent occurrence here and it does move quite quickly across the night sky!

Reminds me of a joke I heard about why so many UFO sightings in the US are by old timers, living in the mid west, sitting out on their porch at night drinking moonshine and why there aren't more sightings over places like Washington. The answer was along the lines that there is too high a concentration of intelligence in the atmosphere over Washington for them to be seen.
