Hi smiffy
It is very difficult to get work here, unless you have good skills. The majority of builders here are Pontian Greeks or Eastern Europeans, prepared to work in the searing heat for £30 a day.
If you do not speak Greek that will be a problem to as most of your co-workers will not speak english.
If you are an experienced electrican or plumber then that is different and you might be able to set up in business on your own.

Hi smiffy
Please sort out the work situation first before deciding to move here. why not come here on 'holiday' and see what opportunities exist. As I mentioned you will be competeing with low cost Eastern European labour and with the disadvantage of not speaking Greek.

Cool Smiffy, but if you are going to stay there long you should learn Greek. |

I am a Company Director, so dont really don't do much!!
Seriously, I set up and run a company here, which is growing very quickly; it pays very well but takes up a large part of my life, including most weekends and sometime evenings
