Mind you, I don't really see the point anything much faster, as most of the sites people visit cannot provide the data fast enough.

I would just like to add that the support from all of them is crap!!! Spidernet used to be good, but since Primetel swallowed them, they are crap as well!

Can you watch 1080p HD video without any buffering pauses?

No, but that is probably because YouTube can't upload it to me fast enough.

Bollocks! I watched it without buffering with my 20M connection. 8) It fully downloaded in 2 minutes.

OK, but where is your 20M connection, not in Cyprus?

No, Europe.

paliometoxo, i did... i downgraded to 5 because not many servers give you connection more than 5 mbit, unless you use download accelerators...it was too fast anyway. But from the 1st of Dec i will have that problem again :D

you must be using rubbish servers because when i was in england i could always max out a 50mbit connection.. and even on cyprus isps its not hard to max out what ever the highest connection is

Don't worry people! Cyprus is catching up with the rest of the developed world, slowly yet steadily. :D

countries like sweden and japan that have gbit connections already that leave even england trailing behind..

but with connections like those i cant imagine ever being able to max it out unless you have like 100 downloads at the same time..

in england they are getting ready to roll out 100mbit on adsl and cable, but adsl always has a much higher upload then cable. and even adsl in england is getting fibre lines so it can compete with the cable.

what connections did they have in slovenia?

Just a quick silly question for home users… what’s the point of these supersonic Internet speeds that cost an arm and a leg?
