And the honest GCs who disagree??? Please understand that I intend not to be facetious when I ask this question. It is asked sincerely.

you have every right in the world to disagree, and nothing that I write may change your view.

All I can say is, like you "I know my people".

Ah, but I'm not disagreeing, Gabaston.

I simply want your thoughts on those GCs who are honest but disagree with your contention.

i can have no thoughts on that - they are perfectly entitled to disagree. i will not try to change their opinion, just like i will not let them change my opinion. like i said we are a live and let live people. you r free to believe what you wish. i have said many times there are many many good hearted gc's.

i can not change their opinion, what they wish to believe is up to them.

one thing that i will add is that i see a very very strong peace movement in the making from young cypriots tc and gc living in london. they grow up in each others houses and love each other.

my daughter has just returned from cyprus. she went with her best friend, a gc girl. they stayed one week together with our family in the north, and one week together with th gc girl's family in the south.

i have heard of quite a few similar cases recently.

this too is something which you may choose to believe or not.

If I may be so bold: Of course you can have thoughts on this. In fact, I tend to believe that you do, but you hesitate to share them.

I choose to believe this, and thank you for sharing your daughters situation. I know of similar relationships, and they offer hope and promise for the future.

what thoughts could i possibly have?

my thoughts are that every one is entitled to their beliefs.

look tell you what, just in case im missing your point, why dont you ask me a few yes/no type questions and i will answer truthfully.

fair enough.

Thank you, Gabaston, but on second thought, you're initial answer suffices.

Theres a reason why TCs dont call for unity with Cyprus because they are only 18% of the population, second who would want to unite with Turkey , and some of the facts are forgotten because the TCs in the past requested that if the British are to leave Cyprus it should be returned to Turkey the rightfull owner as they claim , big difference when compared to the GCs , I have noticed a Turkish lovefest from GCs on this forum have we forgotten that they controll 38% of the island illegaly and through occupation. The Turkish army did not come here to protect the TCs from GCs they orchestrated this whole plan with the British in order to have a army base on the southern side , in order to guarantee that Greece never had control of Cyprus and the British always had an ally force on the Island , stop this lovefest and wake up.

Greekmaniac, can we assume that you prefer the worthless, unproductive hatefest that's been perpetuated for oh so many years?
