Fair enough. I can completely understand from a part time visitor's point of view Daniella, but my Gawd if you climatize and survive Cyp June and August you're superwoman.

exaggerations ;) It just goes a bit over 40c for some days only and that is just in Nicosia (and not tourist goes there anyway). On the coast the temps are lower in the mid 30s (but with higher humidity).

50 is a wee bit exaggerated, but I have known it touching the 40's before with the extra humidity too. (not just in Nicosia) :( thankfully not very often.

Call me whatever you like my friend! I do only have one forum name so you don't have any choice but to play around with that one!

Yes I've known it go into the 40s several times in the summer here. But never up to 50.

30deg all year would suit me! And that's about what they get in some of the Caribbean - but they have about 100% humidity to go with it (arghh!)

Last summer was more humid than is usual. It's the humidity (IMHO) that makes all the difference as to how comfortable you feel.

I will be spending some of this summer out of Cyprus for a change.
