Hate to say it, but in my experience Greeks tend to have slightly smaller noses than their Turkish cousins... no offence Bro' Laughing

Ya Rab Bir hilal ugruna ne güneşler batıyor
God, For a crescent, how many sun is declining.

Sun means Mehmetçik.
Crescent means Islam.

This words are from the dardenal epic, written by Mehmet Akif Ersoy.(He is not a Turk but albanian)

Not knowing what the banner says, I'd imagine that it's a group of Turkish soldiers who have been overrun and massacred. The riders are a support column who arrived too late. Upon arriving, they witness the pool of blood with the crescent and star reflected in it and take this as a symbol of their resistance.

It says "God, how many suns go down for a crescent"

I would be trying to figure it out aswell considering your history. I would replace the murdered Turks with ( insert nation here ) this would update the flag and picture.
