| Clerides has started negotiations with EU, Papadopoulos is supposed to continue and lead Cyprus into the EU. Is it likely though that what was promoted by Clerides will not be supported by Papadopoulos and Cyprus will stay with its candidate status for much longer? |

| Actually negotiations are over. Clerides or Papadopoulos doens't matter in this case. Cyprus will enter the EU 99.9%, except if Americans support the Turks because of Iraq. (although the EU doesn't seem to obey what the US says lately) |
