Is your vehicle fitted with a Sat/Nav system ?. Maybe I could take a look when I come to Cyprus.

No, I don't have a Sat/Nav system. Since apparently those systems do not work yet in Cyprus the retailers of the cars here do not order such things in the standard equipment.

sk, if you follow the discussion you will see that it doesn't work for land as it should because we don't have detailed digital maps of Cyprus :(

As far as I know the "mapping" is almost complete for all of CY. Some company has been working on this for years apparently.

About bloody time imo!

I have a Garmin GPS which tells me my exact location, however Cyprus has not been electronically/digitally mapped, (and according to Garmin there are no plans to do so) so it is of limited use here, anybody buying an advanced GPS for thier car (or Bike :D ) is just wasting money

I can now confirm this.

A person I know got a sample. He told me that the names of the people that made it sounded Yugoslavian, so maybe the company is a Yugoslavian one.

Any idea how I can get my hands on a copy, and maybe become a tester?

The text site doesn’t work at all and none of the links work on the flash site. :(

Perhaps I am an ‘early adopter’?
