| Hello Zox. Is the company yours? The site doesn't work good yet. Can you give some information such as pricing here? Does it cover the whole Cyprus or just the cities? |

Sure it will bee some special prices, we will have promotion period. I will let u know
About prices... still don't know, but it will bee reasonably adapted to the target market.
General tourists map can bee even for free (actually, cost of the 256 MB SD Card) if negotiation with CTO give some results.
Promotion sale should be with 25% discount.
More info at www.gpscyprus.com in few days.
Cheers

| Where do they sell GPS hardware in Cyprus? Would any kind of hardware work with your maps? How much do they cost? |

When the site goes up I'm sure it will look amazing. It already does to be honest but the links don't follow anywhere, keep up the good work.
As for the mapping all i can say is WOW! It's about time someone thought that Cypriots would be willing to pay for good GPS software and hardware. It is so desperately needed in Cyprus, as almost all delivery guys will tell you. It's also desperately needed by the emergency services.
I heard that the police had commissioned a company to map the whole of Cyprus as they where planning to instal GPS devices in patrol cars. The latest i heard was that the mapping was 99% complete and some patrol cars where fitted GPS devices as the whole project moved to it's final testing phase. I heard the police was planning to install these GPS devices in all it's patrol cars very soon.
I'm pretty sure that you must be that same company and I'm very pleased to hear that you are eager to share the digital data with others. I honestly hope that your work will enable companies in Cyprus to provide better services like tracking of parcels and pizza delivery without being asked "where about's do you live?".
Have you mapped all the villages too? What happens when a street is made into a one-way? |
