I have been to Cyprus twice, both times staying in Protaras or Penera. Going back nexy July for 2weeks to the Andreotis apts, near FigTree Bay, Protaras. There are 10 of us (6adults 4kids) so im expecting to have a great time! Im 38, married with 2children. (12 and 10).
I love Cyprus so much, i even have it in my email address-how sad is that! Rolling Eyes Smile Would love to meet other people on here, and chat, especially if you live near me in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I would love to get a liitle "group" going, where we could meet up and tell everyone about our trips to this beautiful Island. Thanks for listening, and Bye for now! Razz Razz Razz

Hi Louisebabe and welcome to this forum!

I am a new member here also.
I love Cyprus a lot as well. I have been living here for a few months and going to be a mother soon.
Do you have any favourite places in Cyprus that you always visit when you come here?

Hi Olga! Very Happy I love Cyprus! When we returned last year, we were suprised at how many new houses/apts had been built, driving from the airport to Protaras. Changed so much! We love going to Troodos Mountains, especially Trimikini Village (hope i spelt this right!). My 2 children love going to Ayia Napa, for the Waterpark and Funfair may i add! Wink We return to Protaras next July (10 of us are going, so watch out!) and i cant wait!! Mr. Green

Hi Louisebabe!
I love mountains also, especially, Platres. I went there once in winter.
I really liked it in winter. It's very quiet and beautiful.
How is the Ayia Napa waterpark now?
I was there several years ago. And I remember we had to wait in long queues.

Hi Olga, lovely to hear from you! Very Happy
Yes, we did goto Ayia Napa Waterpark last year. We caught the bus from Protaras "strip", and got there just after it had opened. The queues werent that bad actually-but we did go midweek, which may have helped. Its such a good day out at the Waterpark-we didnt leave until it was nearly closing! We also went to Ayia Napa Funfair, which was good fun. My son (he was years old at the time) and hubby went on the "Slingshot"-not for the faint hearted, i can tell you! Shocked Wink We have a video which we brought back, it always makes me laugh! Cant wait to go back to Cyprus again next year, we always hire a car. Who knows, if we keep in touch, i may come and visit you! Razz Wink

Hi Louisebabe!
I don't mind you asking Smile
My baby is just about 8 weeks so he or she is going to be born next year.
I love waterparks, that's really fun.
The times I came to Cyprus before in summer (now I live in Cyprus, for a few months since winter) I went usually to Fasouri waterpark because I stayed in Limassol and the Fasouri one was closer than Ayia Napa's one.
Actually, I would like to go some time to Ayia Napa waterpark to see if it changed or expanded since I went there.
So have you planned already what places you will visit when you come here?
Personally, I like to have trips over Cyprus. I have read recently that the village of Fikardou is might be interesting to visit.
