Mac OSX Upgrade Lion

Postby bill cobbett » Wed Jun 08, 2011 10:38 pm

Coming to an App Store near you in July... loads of new features... but remarkably only GB£20.99, which is a fraction of previous upgrades.

For GB users more at http://www.apple.com/uk/macosx/

Promises more finger gestures for track-pad users, which will be nice,... shame you can't programme your own gestures.

They recently released iOS 5 as well. Haven't tried it yet ... I want to see whether this upgrade affects battery life negatively as some previous versions did.

Price is great!I believe you have to have the previous OS (Snow Leopard) installed though. You can't install Lion over earlier OS versions. Just a note to some who might need to buy Snow Leopard as well (still works out pretty good value anyhow).

Looks like a very cool update...
