Update: Netflix is now available in Cyprus! Keep in mind though that you don't get all the content from the USA Netflix... so you might still want to use one of the techniques above to get USA Netflix.

Why subscribe to Netflix, get Kodi instead and watch whatever you like.

Because watching movies with something like Kodi is illegal ;) That said I have Kodi on an android box for my parents. Unlike Netflix it has all the latest movies... but it does have its issues ... like some movies (especially less popular ones) might not play or be too slow, subtitles will often not match and you will need to search for different ones or try to align them... services can go down sometimes etc. Netflix nearly never has such issues. I was using Kodi from since it was XBMC (xBox Media Center) on the original xBox! Now apart from Netflix I am also using Plex on a Roku for newer movies or some series that Netflix doesn't have (like Seinfeld). I pre-download the movie or series I want to watch on my computer which has the Plex server and then I know everything will work correctly. But it does take some time to download ... Seinfeld took a couple or days.

IPTV has a VOD section where all the latest films are added for you to play at the touch of a button but you do have to pay for the service .
also sometime in 2016 you will have to put in your TV licence number to watch BBC IPLAYER
