Limas Hole Road Destruction

I was a bit confused when I reached the final point on the detour where all roads were closed! Maybe because my Greek's not so good.

I know what you mean, but diversion to the left was your only option. Is that from Ionos street? I passed from there this morning.

The left was also closed. It basically led me to a dead end.......I actually have no idea where it was since I just followed the detour signs. Somewhere in Zakaki!

Is that near the new port / My Mall? I got "trapped" in that area too a few days ago. They are doing some major works over there now.

They are finally putting in a direct dual carriage way link from the highway to the port and which will also serve the Industrial area, and of course the Mall.

Is it coincidence that this has only come about since the Mall opened up? Will it bring in more spending customers, to the shops?
Personally it will not entice me to go there any more than I do already, which is about twice a year, as there is very little to interest me.

It's not only the dual carriage way they are also putting this section of Limas Hole in the sewer, I mean on the sewer system. Yet another diversion this morning. They've manage to block both the main entrances to the Industrial Estate. Never mind that there are about a thousand people trying to get there to work!

What needs to be done needs to be done. Both better roads and a sewer system are needed so some inconvenience is expected while they are constructing them. If they are doing both together then its great! I know cases that they made a new road and then a few weeks later they opened it up again for the sewer system! :x

Well it's in the same area, but not sure they are simultaneously doing the concurrent works. I agree that it's an improvement, but the least they could do is properly re-route the traffic. Did you see the photo????

The photo is funny but if that is the only routing problem I don't think is a big one since there is only one way to go from there. I've seen worst ... when there are some signs that take you into some "labyrinth" and then there are no more signs and you don't know where the hell you should turn next!!
