WORLDVENTURES in CYPRUS - Is this a scam or legit?

Postby Phods » Tue Jul 26, 2011 12:49 pm

Hi,

I've been hearing a lot about a new travel network marketing company lately called Wold Ventures. Apparently is a money spinner and many of my friends are trying to recruit me. Its been going for more that five years around the world and has now reached Cyprus.

There are accusations however, having researched a little, that the company is a scam and works loosely on a pyramid structure.

Is there anybody out there who has had any experiences of this enterprise? Is is for real? Is it a scam?

I'd be grateful for any feedback whatsoever?

Cheers,

P

it is carefuly structured to be legal but as with any multilevel marketing scheme you are in danger of reaching the point that that customers for the product run out, and those near the bottom of the pyramid have very lettile chance of makeing the necassary recruitmenets and/or sales - and if your friends are already in who are you going to recruit and/or sell too? .

It is not a scam. And most importantly, it is not a pyramid scheme.
Rumours are spread about pretty much anything that seems "too good to be true" to the ordinary people. It doesn't mean that if you get involved you become a millionaire, it depends on a matter of factors but the point is that yes it is legal in 22 countries at the moment and yes you can make money out of it.
So no, it is not a scam.

You can contact me if you want more information about this. I am a representative for over half a year now.

You can send me a private message here where we can exchange emails/phone numbers etc.

It fits the pyramid scheme definition PERFECTLY!

“A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment or services, primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than supplying any real investment or sale of products or services to the public”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_scheme

So stop lying and quit conning people loser!

http://observer.com/2012/08/do-the-hustle-can-worldventures-use-pyramid-power-to-become-the-new-amway/2/
WorldVentures has a virtually inscrutable payout schedule comprising seven ranks and two pyramid-shaped hierarchies. The first pyramid is called the “lineage.” You sit at the top and everyone you’ve personally recruited is added directly below you, and everyone they’ve recruited is below them, and so on. Lineage is factored into rank, which is factored into compensation. The second pyramid is the “binary organization.” Here the pyramid spreads out by twos—the top spot sits directly above a left and a right spot, each of which sits above its own pairs, and so on. You can then earn bonuses based on sales made by the binary organization, which is comprised of the reps you recruit, and the reps they recruit.

In order to start earning monthly commissions, a rep must be “30/30,” which means having 30 actively-involved customers and/or reps on each side of his or her binary organization. Reps who achieve this can earn up to $500 a month. The next level is 90/90, which can earn up to $2,000 a month. The top level, International Marketing Director, must have at least 3,000 people in his or her lineage, and must continue to average $56,250 in income in the three preceding months in order to maintain that rank. The list of requirements for each rank goes on for pages, with various exceptions and stipulations.
,........
“The reality is, it’s impossible for someone to realize the dreams that they’re pitching,” said one former high-level WorldVentures employee who asked not to be named. “The only people actually making money are the people the founders are manipulating the compensation plan for.”

by the sound of your desperation it seems you've also realised how big a scam this really is! As far as I'm concerned anyone who gets involved in something like this is dumb enough to deserve it.

I don't anything about economics and the financial world but this sounds like the debt-swaps the mega-banks carried out which destroyed the world's economy leaving a few at the top super-rich and the millions at the bottom facing austerity measures! Immoral and unethical spring to mind ...
