Chloraka Village, Paphos. Help please!

Postby jj88 » Fri Jul 29, 2011 1:17 pm

Hello.
I have never been to cyprus before, but I am looking at booking for the summer hols.
I want to stay in Pahos, but do not want to go all inclusive as I hate being stuck in the hotel!!! I also have a 7 year old so it also has to be family friendly.
I want to have choice on bars/ restaurants etc. and I have been told by travel agents to stay as close to the harbour as possible, but I can not seem to find hotels at the harbour. The best I can find is hotels in Chloraka village. But I do not fancy paying taxi fares every night once the buses have finished to and from Paphos center.
Are there a selection of bars and restaurants in Chloraka village or is it just hotels? Or can anyone else suggest anything?
Thank you for any help anyone can offer!

Chlooraka covers a quite large area (cyprus sytle) there is a bus service which is very good ......

if you can name the hotel/apartments I am sure we can offer more advice....
in the village there are restuarants and a couple of bars .......if you are on the coast road the "world" is your oyster ....

Leptos Paphos Gardens would be the most ideal and well priced for you I think. You can book on line.

Go to Larnaca ( my Favourite place) everything is near , no need to for public transport , unless you want explore during the day that is .. The evening concerts are free , you can hop on a boat for a mini cruise , catch a red bus for a trip around the area ... Much safer and child friendly there ... Have a great holiday : )
