Have been to cyprus 3 times and next year hope to stay in the Polis region. Have found a promising accomodation in (or near) Argaka but don't know the village - can anyone give me any information at all.
I believe there is a mini market and a bar or two but would love to know as much as possible before booking - is the road to Polis fairly good? Any villas that any one has been to and would not recommend?

Agarka is a pleasant, albeit very quiet village, maybe 10 minutes drive along the coast from Polis. Unless you want total solitude be careful about what time of year you stay there, in Winter much of Polis closes down.

Well Iam vacationing in London currently and will be off to singapore next month, but that's about as far as my booking ahead goes!
Using the internet, it is pretty easy to make late bookings these days; although with people no longer wanting to fly on Helios, it is getting harder to get Cyprus airways or BA flights from Cyprus.

When I have preveiously left booking to a few months before I normally end up with my 10th or 11 th choice of property - all the best ones go early - and booking early means you get much cheaper prices. (Unless you book a couple of weeks before and then you may bag a bargain - but often a property that no-one else wants to book!!)
Anyway back to Argaka - Any information please!!! |
