Thank you everyone for your information and I have taken a lot on board and it seems that my better option would be to send him to a private english school and have extra greek lessons. To answer a few questions which were asked my partner is not my sons father and my partner moved back to cyprus to support his mother as his father passed away a year and half ago and we have been flying back to and fro every couple of months to see each other. We have been together over five years and are committed to this relationship. His family in cyprus are in full support for me to come to Cyprus.

Then you have a prince among men and I wish you both joy.

You and you son should both be prepared for a very different life in Cyprus, particularly if you live in a big city like London. I suggest rather than your boy friend flying to the UK you shou try to spend time here.
