I have several Filipino friends; most are here for University Study or work, so they tend to be 20+ - in fact I have never met a Filipino teenager here.

I don’t know about a “community”… here its more like a mixture of Asian maids, farmhands, and labourers that work 6 days a week for a pittance. Teens are non existent.

For a second consecutive year the television show «Μια βαλίτσα γεύσεις» will air on Sigma TV with the aim to highlight the cultural characteristics of citizens from third countries, who live and work in Cyprus.The aim of the show is to present the culinary culture of people from third countries, but also of the Cypriots and the influences of different cuisines from the interaction of different cultures.Through the presentation of gastronomy, the show refers to the history of each cuisine and its dietary customs and traditions. The show also includes general information about each country like geography, local produce, the natural environment and the raw materials of the country, in order to bring together all the elements of historical, cultural and economic interests.

For the purposes of the show we would kindly ask for your valuable contribution, with the participation of citizens from different countries you may know.
