If you're looking for a place similar to London then just go back to London and while you're there ask them if they would like to have their own national anthem.

This has probably been discussed before, but now its time to evaluate this topic once more, with a poll.

Of course it has, by you no less using another alias.

Does the british brigade think they can change these Cypriots:

Never in your wildest dreams. If the Republic of Cyprus was dissolved by say accepting the Annan plan then yes, i could see a new national anthem. But as the british brigade knows, the overwhelming majority rejected such a scheme because there limits to what the citizens on this island will accept. We are not going to change who we are or forgo our rights. Live with it. This isnt south east turkey and i am no mountain turk. filthy bitzes.

What has all of that got to do with us having our own National Anthem?

"...ask them if they would like to have their own national anthem."
No need to ask them, they have.

Mine is very simple... you just repeat that 20 times for the basic version, or 100 times for the extended official version.

The problem is your seeing the Republic of Cyprus as some sort of banana republic where the british brigade think they can change our flag, anthem, language, religion. You wouldn't ask these things of any other country yet you think you can do that here. Most of us Cypriots see this place as a banana republic! There is nothing wrong with the flag, and people can have any bloody religion the like, but we should have our own National Anthem, not some second hand Greek rubbish!

Most of us Brits see this place as a banana republic! There is nothing wrong with the union jack, and people can have any bloody religion as long as it's not Christianity, but we should have our own National Anthem, maybe God save the Queen!
