Here are the exchange rates:

If what you see there is a better exchange rate then bring Euros :)

HiPlumpton

Will you get a better rate with Euros than with what? You have not said what your native currency is. If you are British then there is no point in exchanging Sterling for Euros then into Cyprus Pounds.

I was in Paphos in July and I took a cash mix of GB Pounds and Euros as well as my debit card. I already had the Euros and being British the GB Pound is my native currency.
Anyway, the exchange rates for GB Pounds to CY Pounds and Euros to CY Pounds were comparable so there's no point changing GB Pounds to Euros to change into CY Pounds.
If you've got Euros or GB Pounds left over from a previous holiday simply take them with you and change to CY Pounds when you get there.
There are plenty of cash machines in the resorts and towns so there's no need to take wads of cash anyway.
Anyone planning on taking Euros to spend in bars & shops can expect a poor exchange rate over the counter - change it at a bank or a bureaux de change.
Hope this helps.

Don't worry, change the Euros over there. There is also cash machines and a bank in the arrivals hall of Larnaca airport.
