2 years without visa is a long time. I don't think there is anything you can do. Maybe you could put a lawyer who would try to sort it out for you using your Polish wife as an excuse... but that would mean paying a lot of money without being sure about the result.

Well you have to admit abbasizaki that the Immigration were right to refuse to give a visa to someone who didn't follow the rules the first time around.

What is your own nationality ????

It's very difficult mate, very difficult indeed cos what you did was a criminal offence.

Regret to say all think you can do is appeal as Sotos says above with a solicitor, but you should be realistic about the chances of winning.

Sorry mate... very difficult.

I don’t believe for one moment that your intention is to simply visit Cyprus because nobody would go to the trouble of fighting a stop list just for the sake of a holiday when there are hundreds of other places around the world where one can holiday and indeed some far more beautiful than Cyprus!

If all you wanted was a sunny holiday you’d go to a place like Mauritius which looks like paradise on earth…

But it’s obvious that your aim is to move to a European country for residency where many more doors can open. True or false?

And no doubt the immigration department which specializes in such matters will have similar thoughts and be unimpressed with your lie…

Er ... GR, our friend is already living in an EU country, Poland, where he has been living for 3 years, married to a Polish/EU national.
