Jamie,

There are rock climbing communities in Cyprus. One of these is Korfes Cyprus Climbing in which I am a member. We train at Golgern Gym in Nicosia (which offers a climbing wall) . The qualified trainers of the gym offer outdoor rock climbing courses in Pafos during the weekends.

A group of people have completed the first level of sport climbing and we often go to Pafos for climbing.

You can email me for further information. Also you can contact Pavlos Georgiades at 99427892 (the owner of the gym) who can give you more details.

Hello dear mountain friend,

We are a family of three and just recently booked a stay in Cyprus from December 25th until January 7th.
We wonder, if you could provide us with some information about mountain and especially sport/rock climbing in Cyprus. We were searching in the internet, however we could find only one page about hiking up the Olympus.
How about the weather in December/January, is there a lot of snow?

We would be very happy if you could tell us something or establish a contact with another person

Thanks a lot for your help

Best regards from Austria

I often wonder what makes some people want to climb up rocks...

Am I missing the Goat gene? Smile

I realise that this is a bit late in the day, but in case anyone searches for rock climbing info in Cyprus, try visiting:
