Expect a very quick end if things continue in this fashion. early days still, but all of our expectations have been exceeded enormously and confidence is high.

The DAESH leadership has fled Mosul from what we understand.

We folks, it looks like all of you have a lot of egg on your faces. now you are seeing how it's don'e properly without pissing off the entire Sunni population, some which undoubtedly support DAESH.

You need to be pretty desperate to support DAESH, but we actually recognize that our last Iraqi puppet was walking a fine line towards Assad style criminality against the Sunnis and we made some changes to unite the country of Iraq.

Whereas Syria will never be united ever again, for as long as Assad remains.

The world is watching folks. And the historians are writing our legacy. 8)

Your intelligence information is obviously far more advanced than the facts on the ground suggest. So far the Iraqi forces have captured a dozen or so villages and a couple of small towns, using tanks, artillery and of course coalition air power. Well done .... but the real battle has yet to start. They are still 20-30kms from the urban conurbation of Mosul proper ...... then the going will get very tough and will likely grind to a halt. The more rapid advances are being made by the Peshmerga who (according to you) have promised not to enter Mosul City. Yeah ...... they are then going to stop and wait for the Iraqi forces!

US military spokesman said he expected it to be a long and ferocious battle as Daesh were a formidable opponent. He seems to be at odds with your assessment of the situation, maybe you should give them a ring and tell them where they are going wrong.

The West will NEVER unite Iraq. No invasion and regime change by the US has ever managed to do that in history ..... anywhere. Even their own country is deeply divided internally and they need a civilian military force to deal with it. Maybe they should go home .... sort out their own problems ...... and show the world how it should be done.

Once Syria/Russia have got as many civilians out of Aleppo as possible, they will exterminate YOUR terrorists. Getting civilians out has been difficult because YOUR terrorists are shelling the crossing/exit points and picking people off with snipers, the civilians take their lives in their hands to reach government controlled West Aleppo. All shown live on RT from an exit point they were covering with a camera crew. Didn't see any reports about this on Western MSM.

The cessation of attacks in Eastern Aleppo by Syria/Russia has been extended by 24 hrs. YOUR terrorists have carried on shelling and killing, as would be expected. I note you ignore this completely, in your trumpeting.

There are also many civilians being used as human shields and as hostages ..... I believe YOUR forces are now coming up against the same problem according to BBC. It will be interesting to see how the Iraqi's deal with it. They are also saying many hundreds of civilians have fled ..... no mention of just 79! Many fled North to the Peshmerga forces. BBC news is now reporting that apparently, the coalition has no plans in place for dealing with the tens/hundreds of thousands of refugees expected to flee Mosul City as the Iraqi forces get within artillery range of the city proper.

So far your hot air boasts and attempts to ridicule the real situation ......... just make you look even more out of touch with reality than normal!

BTW: You still have not provided any ratification of your wife's expertise on events in Syria, or anywhere else for that matter .... so I will assume, as usual, you are making it up as you go along. :?:

Syria warns it will ‘down Turkish planes next time,’ calls bombing of Kurds ‘flagrant aggression’

‘Damascus has reacted harshly to the bombing of Kurdish militias in northern Syria on Thursday morning by Turkey’s air force, vowing to intervene next time Ankara sends its planes over its border.

In a statement, the Syrian Defense Ministry accused Turkey of “flagrant aggression, which targeted innocent citizens,” saying that it considers it “a dangerous development that could escalate the situation.”

“Any attempt to once again breach Syrian airspace by Turkish war planes will be dealt with and they will be brought down by all means available,” warned Damascus, whose planes, which have flown in concert with a Russian expeditionary force, have been avoiding direct confrontation with unauthorized NATO jets.’

Turkish artillery guns have been firing at Kurdish militias, who are now fighting against Ankara-backed rebels over territory won back from Islamic State in northern Turkey on Wednesday. Turkey said that the airstrikes took out up to 200 Kurds, though the YPG, the Kurdish militia, initially put its losses at 15.

Syria called the victims “150 innocent civilians” and said that “these irresponsible acts will have dire consequences that will threaten the region's stability and security.”

NO they are not!

They are doing their own thing, much like Pootin.

And both have created a big huge mess, and a quagmire.

Turkey is NOT part of the coalition and we do not want them because they will start bombing our allies, the Peshmerga.

Active Coalition members are USA, FRANCE, Britain, Australia, UAE, and Jordan.

There are another 65 countries who are inactive members of the coalition and they include Cyprus and Greece.
fact of the matter is this. the Coalitions Iraq and Syria policy has proven to be superior to all others. You can see this manifest itself in the measured and constructive responses the Coalition has been undertaken which is now paying off hefty dividends. our Iraq operations are proving to be so more successful than anything we have anticipated only after 4 days.

It also allows the Coalition a formidable exit strategy once the fall of ISIL is complete in Iraq. Pootin however is in a major quagmire and so far their long drawn out operations in Aleppo don't seem to be working.

at the moment, you have to ask who is in an advantageous position. I personally believe that the Coalition is in a far better place than Russia is and on top of that, we have been gifted the means to operate within Syria for as long as we desire and given the fact that our allies control a big piece of Syria, I think our position at any negotiation table is far stronger today than what it was 6 months ago.

Russian, Syrian Radars Prove Belgian Jets Strike Syrian Village - Russian MoD

The Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian and Syrian radars proved that Belgian jets struck the Syrian village of Hassajek.

The Russian Defense Ministry will unveil flight path details of the Belgian Air Force jets at the time of the deadly strike on a village near Aleppo in Syria, Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Thursday. "Russia has effective air defense means to maintain round the clock monitoring of the air situation over almost entire Syria. Besides us, Syrian air defense systems that have been restored over the past year control the airspace. Not to be unfounded, today we will present information about the flight route and the actions of the Belgian Air Force and US Air Force aircraft in Syrian airspace on October 18," Konashenkov said. The Russian Defense Ministry vowed to present detailed information about the operation of Belgian F-16 jets over Syria to Belgian authorities. The Belgian defense minister is either purposefully misleading the international community or the Belgian Defense Ministry jointly with the United States is deceiving the country’s authorities, Konashenkov said. "Either Steven Vandeput is purposefully misleading the Belgian and the international community, or his subordinates jointly with their US colleagues are deceiving the authorities of the Kingdom of Belgium."

Ministry said that two aircraft that took off from an airfield in Jordan belonged to the Belgian Air Force. "The aircraft that took off from Salti [Al-Azraq] airbase in Jordan have been immediately identified to be F-16, and their affiliation was established as that of the Belgian Air Force."

He specified that Russia registered the takeoff of the jets from Jordan at 01:34 a.m. based on its unique characteristics. At 02:37 a.m. the Belgian jets entered the Syrian airspace. At 03:10 a.m. the F-16 flew 80 km north-east of Raqqa. Afterward, the ministry spokesman said the F-16s patrolled the vicinity of Azaz.

Kurdish and Iraqi forces have received 6000 odd Mosul refugees which managed to escape from DAESH.

Everyone is being taken care of in the Coalition established refugee centers. males of fighting age need to pass security screening before being re-united with their family to ensure they have no connections with DAESH.

Lot's of happy families and children.

Contrast this to the torture, the rape of women from Hezbollah thugs, the summary executions of the Assad Regime and the prison camps.

it's all on show for the world to see.

You know very well what i am talking about. Stop pretending you don't.

We have 10,000 pages worth of evidence with all these crimes, and even photos of torture and the document was an official Syrian "government" Document.

Shhhhhhh ...... listen to Putin ..... no threats, no bravado, no glowing sit-reps. no comments on the US/NATO actions ..... as he plays his cards close to his chest. YOU shout your mouth off!!!

Like a Mamba, you will hear nothing until he strikes ..... then it will be too late and all YOU will be able to do is run for it and shout foul. We will see how humorous you find the situation when the first coalition jet gets shot out of the sky for being where it should not be, after being warned. :(
