Unfortunately, Paphitis has shown us the hallmarks of a psychopath with his commentary on Syria.

In the same breath, he support the Syrian peoples right for democracy even though he does not listen to them and the annexation of their property and natural resources while many of them are displaced refugees.

That's just despicable.

He, Paphitis, still believes, passionately I might add, that his views are shared by many.
I think that both you Maximus and Robin ought to make your views " official" by casting your disapproval. He may, just may mind you, something I very much doubt, see sense.

What a little rat you expose yourself to be by inviting other members to join you in your quest to discredit a fellow member of this forum.

Not surprising that you should pursue such a course (particularly when things fail to pan out as well as you would hope) it is your usual style BUT... wait for it, a little grovelling and begging usually follows a failure to entice others to join you. don't give up hope altogether, the tide may yet turn.

Oh dear Paphitis, YOUR terrorists are getting THEIR butts kicked to hell and back in Aleppo and are legging it ...... and demanding a five day humanitarian truce so that civilians can be evacuated!!!! Haven’t we heard that crap before? Obviously the answer was ......”Duck ... here comes another one!”

Maybe Assads success is due to his forces and his allies getting on with the job of killing terrorists ..... instead of taking 'selfies' like YOUR proxies are doing in Mosul. No wonder you are at a standstill!

This carnage could have been stopped months ago. YOU had the opportunity many times, thanks to Assad/Russia/UN, to take your terrorists out, with their arms, but YOU didn’t because YOU didn’t know who THEY were. NOW, after all the bloodshed YOU stop supplying them and leave THEM to get slaughtered.

Now don’t get me wrong. I couldn’t give a damn about your terrorists but did YOU have to let the civilian hostages die with them? Where is this great concern YOU have for the Syrian people that apparently I don’t.

Aleppo battle: Syria rebels 'withdraw from old city'

Syrian rebels have left the last areas they held in Aleppo's old city, while calling for a five-day truce to allow the evacuation of civilians. Activist monitoring group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the pull-back in Syria's second city came after days of heavy fighting.State media confirmed the military had taken over the whole of the old city. Government forces now control about 75% of eastern Aleppo, held by the rebels for the past four years.

Syrian Troops Are Close To The Biggest Victory In The War

On December 6, government forces took control of the neighborhoods of Sheikh Lutfi and Marjeh. On December 7, the Syrian army and its allies liberaed the Old Aleppo and entered the areas north and east of the Aleppo Citadel.
Member groups Jaish al-Fatah and Fatah Halab militant coalitions announced that they are ready to withdraw from the city under a deal with the government.A large group of militants already surrendered to government forces.

Monitor says Syrian army seizes Aleppo Old City from rebels

BEIRUT A war monitor said on Wednesday the Syrian army had seized control of all parts of the Old City of Aleppo which had been held by rebels, part of an advance which has seen insurgents lose around two thirds of their main urban stronghold over the past two weeks.

The Syrian army and allied forces began to enter the Old City on Tuesday, and are looking closer than ever to achieving their most important victory of the five-year-old civil war by driving rebels out of the besieged eastern sector of the city.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the army advance on Tuesday and overnight, which was supported by heavy air strikes and shelling, caused insurgents to withdraw from the historic Old City, including from the area around the historic Umayyad Mosque.

Syrian army liberates more Aleppo districts, seizes militant command center

Syrian government forces have reclaimed five more districts in the eastern part of Aleppo, according to the Russian Center for Reconciliation. Some reports suggest up to 85 percent of the area, previously controlled by rebels, has now been liberated. “By the evening of December 6, the Syrian army established full control over five more neighborhoods in eastern Aleppo,” the Reconciliation Center said in a statement on Tuesday.

Syria Says It Seized Nearly 75 Percent of Eastern Aleppo

Syrian government forces and allied militias captured Aleppo's centrally located al-Shaar neighborhood from rebels on Tuesday, securing nearly three quarters of the besieged enclave less than two weeks after launching a ground offensive, according to the Syrian military.

Time is running out for the terrorists ............

BREAKING: Al-Qaeda commanders negotiating surrender in Aleppo, Jihadi stronghold collapsing

Over the course of the day the Syrian army has recaptured the formerly Jihadi held districts of Sheikh Lutfi, Mejah and al-Shair, whilst it seems that Al-Qaeda has ordered all Jihadi fighters to retreat from all areas north and east of the Aleppo citadel. This slices off another area in the northern part of the former Jihadi pocket in eastern Aleppo, and reduces the area of Jihadi control in eastern Aleppo to a few districts in the city’s south east.

There are now more and more reports of Jihadi commanders in eastern Aleppo negotiating with the Syrian military for their surrender and for the surrender of their fighters.
