Really good run by the CY Antonis Aresti to win the 200m -T46 first round a few mins ago. Looked really comfortable and had loads of self-control, looking good which shouldn't surprise as he is the current World Champion.

He's in to the Final on Sunday.

Anthonis got close to the Bronze but lost out to the OZ in a desperate struggle over the last few yards... went down to a photo decision.. very close, very spirited try by the CY but came home in 4th in a New Regional Record of 22.40 secs

The 100m - T46 and the 400m - T46, still to come for the CY later in the week.

Yes, that's what it says ..."RR"... regional record, but not sure what region.

I guess any record broken is better than nothing at all.
Good job lad.

Think it's a new European record file... and we can't ask for more than that... yes, good job.

Really enjoying an evening of great athletics... these are athletes of the highest calibre putting in great performances... really great track and field evening.

Antonis Aresti again just missed out on a medal in yesterday's 400m T46 ... his season's best was good enough for 4th place (again!).

Running again tomorrow Thursday in the morning heats and hopefully the evening final of the 100m T46.

With regret... AA didn't qualify for tonight's final... but let's recall that AA did CY proud with two Silvers in Beijing in 2008.
