Anybody been to the exhibition "The earth from above" at Eleftheria Square and Ledra Street? Somebody told me they have some amazing photos there.

The exhibition of original prints could right now be in any other city in the world, earning money and exposure for his cause. Instead, Bertrand has come to Cyprus, to donate his prints for free, to the last divided country in the world.
“From the sky,” he tells me, “you do not see borders, and even the line dividing Nicosia is invisible.” Wandering around Ledra street I found Bertrand’s sister Katrin. She explained how Jann’s dream was to visit the world’s last divided country and to photograph all of Cyprus starting with in the south. It transpires they had so many problems with the Turkish military they were unable to photograph the north. There are now five photographs in the exhibition which to date, has attracted more than 50 million viewers and expects to draw 300,000 in Cyprus.

I have not been there but I have seen pictures in Cyprus Weekly.
They are really wonderful!
I like photography in general and this exhibition I believe is really worthy of visiting.
Do you know, Sotos, until when it's gonna stay open?
I hope it's still open and I am not late |

Yes. I love it! But "the earth from above" is about art. Not just low resolution satellite images. The 2 things are completely different. |

| I saw it when it was here in London last year. Some truly stunning pictures. I definitely recommend it. |

| That exhibition seems nice. However I have a complain to make. Its organizers in order to advertise this event they sent an email containing a 12 Megabyte tiff image!!! |
