I have been told that it is possible to get a government grant towards the cost of restoring village houses.
Does anyone know about this?
Thanks

Government grants are available for the restoration of old houses in Cyprus. The grants are strictly regulated and in the case of stone buildings only qualified government approved Stonemasons can carry out the work.
I have searched the web for more info but so far have not found it although I know its there as I looked into obtaining a grant some years ago. If my memory serves me right DIY is not an option.
My village Mukhtari has been trying to obtain a grant for some time for his own old house so I will ask him how is application is progressing and for any info. |
