| Before deciding to move in Limassol I was reading about cypriot people and they say they are nice & kind & very friendly ... but it turn out they have a lot of preconceived ideas ... mostly regarding alien people moved in cyprus ... for example I had problems renting an apartment because some landlords have a seeing "NO romanians or indians". Maybe I generalize when I shoudn't do ... so here's a question especially for cypriots: what do you know about romania & romanians? just courios. |

Actually I eventually found a lanlord who likes romanians (he actually knew some words like "ce faci?" "multumesc" and "la revedere"). But the attitude of some shocked me. What do this people know about roumanians ?
I came here having in mind to learn greek while socialize with greeks ... but seems is not that easy .... |

Ya I know it ... I also met more than 100 romanians in limassol (in only few weeks). But I also wanted to socialize with other nations  ... now that I am for the first time out of my country ... |

I didn't say that all of them reacted like that ... but some ... (mostly for Kanika area were I would prefer staying). |
