Hi
I am visiting Cyprus for the first time in October with my baby who will be almost 9 months by then. I was just wondering if anybody knew what brands of baby milk and baby food are sold in Cyprus. Do they sell SMA? Or should I bring some from the UK? I would rather not do this as I am sure the amount of food my baby consumes in 1 week would definitely put me over my luggage allowance.
Thanks for your help |

I am not sure about SMA but our supermarkets have many brands of baby food like Gerber and such.
I don't think you need to bring anything except if your baby got "addicted" to a specific brand and would not eat anything else. |

Cyprus has many large supermarkets, where ever you are staying you will be close to either an Orphanides, a Woolworth or an Alphamega (Alphamega in Lefkosia only), and a lot of food that you find in England makes its way over to Cyprus. Look on Galaxy sweets like Minstrels and you will find 4 languages, one of which is CY, but no Greece in sight! In fact, I saw an episode of Cyprus Airport on TV where a mother had a delayed flight and the assistant went all the way out to a supermarket to buy baby milk so they must be stocked. And if you can't find any, the Cypriots are always happy to help and speak good English. Enjoy your stay in Cyprus . |
