Huge Fight in Occupied Areas... Many Injured

Err... VP... Halil... Bordo... can you confirm, as the report in Gundemkibris is in Turkish, that there was a big fight at the Illegal 'emu" college in Occupied Famagusta in which, reading from interpretations from other sources as well, some 200 Kurd students were involved in a violent confrontation with a roughly equal number of people described as being Turks and "turkish-cypriots" which has left many people injured including a number who suffered pretty severe knife stabbing wounds that have required hospitalisation... ???

Here is the report...

CNA pick up on this with something in English...

Grey Wolves and Kurds involved in a huge fight in occupied Famagusta
Turkish Cypriot daily Kibris newspaper (14.05.12) reports that a big bloody fight took place yesterday between a group of Kurdish persons and a group of Grey Wolves in occupied Famagusta.

The paper writes that the two groups used sticks, stones and even knifes in the fight between them, broke the windows of cars that were parked at the area where the fights took place and as a result the persons living in Famagusta had a hard time. Persons from both groups got injured during the incident.

According to the paper, the fight started at noon but took greater dimension in the evening. The two groups shouted slogans against each other: The Grey Wolves shouted slogans like “A good Kurd is a dead Kurd” while the Kurds shouted slogans in favour of their imprisoned leader Abdullah Ocalan. The self-styled police put a lot of effort to take control of the situation, writes Kibris.

If the Tyrannical Regime of North Cyprus was to open the city to the Greek Cypriots, who would be securing their safety? The Grey Wolves, the Kurds or the TMT from both of the previous two?

How many times has it been said that these so called "universities" in the occupied regions are racist and have zero academic credibility!

Seems Kurds are not safe anywhere from Turks.

What has football got to do with it? Seems to me that it is a case of the majority beating up on the minority, something quite normal for Turks.

You're being very foolish VP if you think anyone will buy your football supporters nonsense in this affair.

Grey Wolves and their ugly Nationalist Terrorism are finding their ways in to the Occupied Areas and they are going around freely, provoking and assaulting students, whilst shouting... "A Good Kurd is a Dead Kurd" ... and this is not the first time it has happened, is it...???
