You mean this Harry Scott Gibbons…

http://www.trncinfo.com/tanitma/en/inde ... newsid=215

…who was parlaying with the puppet government of the illegal occupied territory?

Isn’t that like reading Mussolini's book… “Why my friend Adolf is a good guy!”

Harry's speech ends with... "How proud it is to be a Turk!"

Nice one GR.

The whole book is a fantasy and concoction of Turkish Propaganda.

... and here are the last few sentences of the speech by the author of the worst and most biased "contribution" to Cyprob...

Let me end my speech by saying, "Long live Turkey, long live Turkish North Cyprus, and long live Rauf Denktash."

And I would exhort Turks, in the face of this confrontation with Europe, to remember what a very famous man, Kemal Atatürk, said, and never to forget it:

"Ne mutlu Türküm diyene." How proud it is to be a Turk!

That's great! :) Theodosia, you come with a deep understanding from knowing how Ireland suffered under the hands of Imperialists. And now you will add to your instincts and discover for yourself how Imperialists (Britain, USA and, many time over, Turkey) have been trying to tear Cyprus apart from Greece - to destroy the Greek Hellenic fold. For centuries!

Why don't you start a thread in "Cyprus Problem" section where you can add any pieces of history and information which you encounter in your searches, along with your interpretations. :)

Get Real.

Now you are writing your own propaganda.

Are we supposed to believe that it is unbiased and credible ?

I think not.

as you could learn some manners perhaps? spelling is not the issue really is it? If i had spelled turkey wrong and i agreed with all you said would you still point out incorrect spelling? NO YOU WOULDN'T!
Also get your facts right and don't put words into my mouth i did not say!!!
I have made myself very clear (regardless of incorrect spelling) that iam half Greek and half Irish. I was happy to learn about the history of both sides of the story of what happened. If you bothered to read my other posts in the correct threads instead of on this thread ( i gather you can read?) you will see that i said "unless i got my facts right and to argue effectively i would need to read and research"
I can't help but be half Greek, but is what is your excuse for your mad manners and rudeness to me? all you have done is made me see why they is so many angry threads on here.
It may not be the answer you want, but its the one that you are getting. P.S. you need to check your grammer its not that good!

If you could think with any level of common sense you wouldn’t have corruption oozing out your ears and nostrils would you now?

Now stop making a dork of your self because I’ve started to pity you… :?
