Watching BBC I-Player in Cyprus?

Postby BerkshireScouse » Mon Aug 20, 2012 12:59 pm

Hi

Apologies if this question has been raised before...

Can anyone recommend a way of temporarily changing my IP address in order that I can gain access to BBC’s I-Player and other sites which are subject to ‘territorial restrictions’? (I only need to watch them through my PC, not my television).

My main motivation for doing so is in order to watch many of the Olympic events we missed due to rather foolishly arranging to go on holiday during the track & field events…

Many thanks in anticipation of your assistance.

Changing your IP outside of your allowable range would simply disconnect you from your service provider.

What you do to overcome your problem is use software that PRETENDS you have an IP from a different country.

One of these progs is bound to do the trick…

Ultimate IP Changer

Yes, very well in a fishing cottage in Grimsby.
