The fact that the UK has more GCs than TCs, must then mean that Makarios got rid of more GCs than TCs with his master plan to rid Cyprus of Cypriots.

I bet your parents came to the UK well before Makarios became a President.

Let's try and stick to the thread please.

Anyway, last night there was more chaos in the Occupied Part of Nicosia...

The "mayor" of Lefkosa "municipality" resigned and an important council meeting to negotiate the financing of the "municipality" was inquorate.

Now where's me Postman's Hat gone?... looks like VP will be having a few more fragrant special deliveries next week cos despite the promises, the CY workers of the "municipality" weren't paid yesterday.

It will all be resolved thanks for your concern but why dont you go back to your own country and care for that with all its problems.

The bonfires of protest re-appeared outside the "municipal" offices last night... curious way of resolving matters.

...it's easier bill, if you can take your guns out and shoot them; steep learning curve, give the administration a break, they haven't killed anyone, yet.

...i know you are bill. for Peace, too.

the denial, makes me think of a story, sorta goes like:

when they came for the Garbage Pickers, i said nothing because i was not a Garbage Picker
when they came for the Teachers, i said nothing because i was not a Teacher
when they came for the Doctors, i said nothing because i was not a Doctor
when they came for me i said, but i am a Policeman, they said nothing because they are, the Army.

cheers.

Sources in the Occupied Areas are reporting more problems of sewage getting in to water supplies with a major rupture of a water main in the Occupied Part of Nicosia leading to drinking water being contaminated with sewage water.

Fears of a serious risk to public health with thousands of CYs at risk are again being voiced.

The breakdown in the Lefkosa "municipality" branch of the Rubbish Regime of "trnc", with the resignation of the "mayor", is leaving the fracture in the pipeline un-repaired.
