Since it is now late August I gather that the July 20 inauguration will not be happening?

I must admit it all does sound a bit too good to be true. However I thought the same for the euro tunnel which took longer and cost more than it was estimated. These big projects come hand in hand with politics. However if it really does work then it will change people's lives in the north. Water is the backbone of and developing and progressing country be it recognised or not or be it the invaded parts of Cyprus as nikitA likes to put it. You can kiss sweat good bye to all your political leaverage that you abuse whilst in the eu or any other political clout .

Jealousy won't get you far only as far as members reading your bull shit . But that's as far as it will reach . It won't stop the progress of this pipeline . It won't stop the long awaited water supply. It won't stop the immense development it will have on business , agriculture and political clout. Your words will not stop our progress .

Musti,

You do not know the price for that water yet, financial or political. Such a vital resource as water is the kind you do not even trust your mother with.

We will talk again if and when this thing works and the bill is presented. And yes, it is the occupied territories, and it is proven in that this "investment" was conceived, planned and carried out by the Turkish department of water works, with zero TC input.

It is further proven by the refusal of the "authorities" to accept an EU financed desal plant because one single GC desal expert was part of the staff hired by the EU to build the plant. This kind of thing happens in occupied countries.
