Id would learn Greek but only if we should accidently happen to unite otherwise its not necessary.

VP, sincerely, I am deeply impressed.

Thank you, prior to the AP do you remember the number of people that enrolled in language classes.

No, I don't VP. If you have figures for Turks (Settlers?) taking up Greek as another language, it would be good of you to share. Also, perhaps you can extrapolate on why they may have gone this extra mile?

To my stomach - I felt a knot.

Everyone should learn Greek, seriously, for their own intellectual improvement. That VP was willing to do that is indicative of his/her openness to self-improvement - despite the extra hurdle of animosities. So that's good, right?

But the mention of the AP as a stimulus is another angle; so I would like to hear why this would have been a reason for the Turks/Settlers/TCs learning more Greek.

Which 'big boys' are you referring to? The EU including France, the UK and Germany, the US, Russia, China, Israel and the UN all recognise the sovereignty of the Republic of Cyprus and have expressed support for Cyprus's declaration of its EEZ and its gas exploration activities.

So who is left that supports Turkey's position on maritime borders in the Mediterranean? Who are these 'big boys' you think back Turkey on this issue?
