Ashes

I don't want to appear too confident, but I hope the Ashes return back home to the Fatherland down under.

This is a good opportunity for Get Real to broaden his sporting horizons by being engulfed in this great game of strategy and mind warfare (sledging) over a marathon 5 days of Test Cricket! :D

The Scots just can't cut the mustard. The Wallabies would make Hagas out of their crushed insides!

Wales and England is where it's at.

It's more to do with population and sports spending mate. A lot of the sports spending is funded by State Run Gambling and Corporate Sponsorship is big too.

Australia has a much larger population than Cyprus and Sports expenditure and Government Funding is quite big which means that more and more fringe and 'alternative' sports can be sustained.

Cyprus can't compete with that.

Cyprus needs to pick its sports and fund those as much as it can. Rugby and Tennis have probably been neglected in favour of Football, but they will need to rethink that in my opinion.

Didn't you say something about football being like watching paint drying?

When cricket comes on I turn to the paint drying channel!
