let me help you. you can have anybody can reside anywhere they like and you can even have anybody cvan set up business anywhere they like. but i am afraid 95% of tcs will not vote for any setup that will allow the gcs to use their numbers and take over the whole island.

there is of course another solution and you can forget about zone, single zone and single government so long there are 800,000 tcs in cyprus, the numbers to be made up from terkey or any other tc who wishes to come back to homeland. and finally our patriotic friends will have one man one vote.

how about it

All this ball bags about federal governments and power sharing and bi-communal bollox. We cant even agree on what color toaster to buy.

Cyprus does not have an Ottoman identity and the medievil Islamist idiots have to go. The TCs must recognize their place in Cypriot society as an ethnic minority, as part of a wider Cypriot democracy and everything else will fall into place. its that simple.

Its amazing how small this place is when you look at the amount of problems there are. Gosh, I could swear it has the largest number of problems per square meter....

...this is fact. i agree. but on this basis, i hope Cypriots seek better. excuse me if i want to say, "i am Cypriot", and not "I am Greek", first.

Errr RW... before we move on ... you have a ref to "National Assemblies" In the plural in the Manifesto.
I
There can only be ONE National Assembly.

Would you mind terribly correcting this please... and then we'll move on.

Absolutely not and you should just give up posting crap about Cyprus given that you don't even live here.

Just stick to your own local issues in Canada and keep out of ours. Ta!

indeed, there must be more than one National Assembly, as there must be at least three components (BBF) to be complete. consider a Republic of Cyprus that is Bicommunal. what meaning can it have unless it is one Government representing its Citizens, the dwellers of Cyprus, not as Greeks or Turks but as Cypriots (a matter of Identity, as Individuals). then...

what happens to Greekness, or Turkishness depends on this population having a means to sustain these National Identities, thus another level of Government, Cypriot Constituencies, must exist, and being Bizonal these distinctions can be described geographically as well. what is fact, is that the world's ethnosphere is shrinking at a faster rate than its ecosphere. the Maronites, Armenians, Latins, and yes, even the English, on this island require the same tools as the Greeks (service in their mother tongue, and in their daily lives), to survive; in this context, they are equal (in need). and as Cypriots, with Freedom, one Sovereign State, one Country, we should be able to provide this Liberty to ourselves. furthermore, i propose that if Sovereignty was taken out of the equation, it would not be difficult for them (the Constituencies) to determine their needs, and to proceed in unanimity to the Federal Government for their Charter, as Constituencies with their respective National Assemblies to provide the self-representation, as Persons, their electorates' are demanding, to be closer to their tax dollars, beyond Mobility, Expression, and Association.

it would be possible to see a return of communities to the north, and to the south, as it would be possible to think even further, and to start new communities.

...you have to decide if it's your "Greekness" that is most important to you. and if Cyprus is not much more than Property, or the ground under your feet, i can understand your position, you sound like a carpetbagger.

federal and state business are separate....for instance the Federal assembly will be in Nicosia, the other two can be in each states choosing, which could also be in Nicosia...but separate from the federal
