Why I adore Nigel Farage ...

Postby GreekIslandGirl » Wed Aug 28, 2013 4:25 pm

This colourful character, a long-term fave of mine, is gaining in popularity. :D

Indeed, he is the candidate most likely to poll the greatest number of votes at the next UK elections.

I think he could be good news for Cyprus, so I'm sure lots of you have many reasons why you adore him too. :)

Today, I like him for saying this:

"We are a country tired of fighting wars that have nothing to do with us."

What is a "rebel teenager"?

- One who wakes up before noon, perhaps?

UKIP supporter. An edgy rebel teenager that turned into UKIP because he/she hates his parents and tries to rebel against them.

Nigel is a poser and a showman, if he takes the lead for only one day the UK would collapse.

Hmm - not quite sure your example works. Nigel Farage couldn't possibly be accused of hating his parents. He loves the UK and its heritage (parents).

Also, all politicians are posers and showmen so he's doing something right.

And I'm not sure I agree with your prediction that the UK would "collapse" if he took the lead as the present lot are .... shit ... and it still has not collapsed! :D

I could not say that I 'Adore' him (people might start talking) BUT, I do admire the man for his commitment to his principles, he comes across as a forthright and honest person, qualities quite often rare (but not unknown) among politicians and I think he would make a better fist of the job than the 'Trio los Bufones' which form the current government.

I also have a great deal of 'Respect' for George Galloway, perhaps it is because he too 'Stands by his Guns' against ALL opposition.

So does Robert Mugabe when one considers his age and position, a man of great 'Tenacity' in the face of enormous adverse publicity.

(Regardless of their political persuasions).

I agree with all the above and add Nick Griffin too. :D

He's done great work exposing the Turkish destruction of the occupied areas.

UKIP blame 'inflow of migrants' for social housing crisis ....

Council house applicants whose parents or grandparents were born locally should be given priority on waiting lists, according to a new policy from the UK Independence Party.

So says the Greek Cypriot Housing Spokesperson for UKIP, Mr Andrew Charalambous ...

..... the proposal would strengthen local communities, particularly in London, because many people are being encouraged to move out to obtain cheaper housing.
