What else? Hooligans are hooligans. And they are everywhere.

No, football attracts the dregs of society like no other sport.
A culture of barbaric, uncivilized pack mentality reminiscent of the time homo sapiens were breaking away from Neanderthal subspecies 300, 000 years ago.

if anyone is listening. Tell them.
Take this to KOA and shove it as hard and as far as it can go up their arses.

Tell them.
Tell them the dream was within reach but they helped to kill it.
Tell the local media the same thing.

in a meritocracy, results get state support and funding.
In a corrupt state, politically affiliated sporting bodies get state funding.

Tell them.

What, we have to have you on our backs now because you can’t garner enough popularity for shitty Rugby?

I disagree. These "dregs of society", as you call them, usually unemployed, illiterate, impoverished, antisocial, embittered etc, are attracted by all team sports and to all events to which large crowds gather to express loudly their support for one thing or the other, even music concerts. It's their chance to demonstrate how much they hate you and me and all other regular citizens and how much they resent the society which they blame for what they are. And they are also a very small minority between the hundreds of millions of football fans all around the world. How many are those who do all the beatings and burnings and the fights with the police etc? 100 or 200 out of the tens of thousands of fans of each particular team? Not more. And they are always the same individuals and of the same backround.
