Does anyone have any information about coaches that travel to Nicosia from Larnaca Airport.
A friend is arriving from Greece at the weekend and wants to find out:

How often the coaches travel from the airport to Nicosia?
Do they stop at the main Bus Station near Ledra street?
Until what time in the evening they are operational...

Any info will be very much appreciated

Passed on as is as I have never used them. 16 or 17 buses a day each way but only part way into Nicosia say 3 or 4 km short of Ledra street. Main stop is near the big police HQ.

There are regular city buses along the main road close to the terminal in Nicosia that run to Solomos Square bus station (fare EUR 1.50), which is close to Ledra Street and about 10 minutes' walk from the crossing point on Ledra Street.

just to confirm this bus is not from the airport. you would need to get a cab to the city bus stop first. I don't suppose the bus from the airport goes to the city bus stop does it?

The bus times shown in the link are those from the airport, re gumbare.

Yes, as on Tuesday and Sunday one early morning service cycle involving two round trips starting at 0015 does not operate.

By the way, you are a genius, because I realise you have come up with another alternative - go to the centre of Larnaka by local bus or taxi, and take the intercity bus to Nicosia, which terminates at Solomos Square in NIcosia, near Ledra Street.

Just for the record, the times of the intercity buses which do not start from Larnaka airport, but from Larnaka city centre, but do terminate at Solomos Square, close to Ledra Street, in Nicosia.
