this re-affirms the fact that the RoC needs to clamp down on illegal immigrants. Fact is, he was busted as an illegal, the police tried to arrest him and in the process he broke his leg and he is screaming black and blue about discrimination and 'police brutality'. He is playing the race card, and if we have more if this, the minute the police even lay a finger on another Black or minority group, many will claim racism and human rights violations.

The only thing I saw that the Police did wrong is try to handcuff him even though it was obvious that he had a broken leg. They could have called for an ambulance.

They did offer to take him, but he refused.

Get these people out of Cyprus or pay the price.

Can't see what the fuss is about as the beginning is edited out. Why was he being arrested? Why is he resisting the police? It's unfortunate he broke his ankle but it doesn't appear to be deliberate. It's certainly not a Rodney King or Gezi Park type beating here.

Why is the video titled 'racial profiling'? Presumably he was stopped because he was with a group of Africans and the police wanted to check his papers? Is this illegal in Cyprus?

Whilst I would never condone police brutality or harassment I'm not sure this video proves anything. Other than don't become hysterical if the police ask to see your papers.

I think the RoC needs to come to terms with the fact that it has many internal issues and problems as a result of illegal immigrants or others taking the piss out of the immigration system.

I remember years ago when Paphos was heaven on earth, until the so called "pontians" arrived and then it became a shithole or sewer. Now there are too many pimps, and drug traffickers and people walking the streets without a smile.

The police need to do their job.

First of all there are DOZENS of police brutality videos every single week emanating mostly from the US and to a lesser extend the UK so I for one don't give a shit if its gone"viral" or not.

Second, you can hear the lady say "He [something] to my car" and that's when the cop turns as the black guy screams. I can't figure out if that something is "scratched" or "kicked" or something else.

Third, the cops keep telling him that he needs to go to a hospital and he constantly refuses! Why? Most likely because his paperwork is not in order.

Basically, there's more to this story than meets the eye so keep your shirt on!

Oh and btw, 85,000 views isn't "viral" it's ignored!

It is not clear in the video but at the beginning, the man was struggling with the police officer and this scuffle caused them both to fall to the deck. The man’s leg got mangled and it broke in several places in the process, accidentally.

The injured man then threatens the police { in his state of shock I suppose } while the police officer who also seemed shocked at what has just happened kept telling him, we are getting you an ambulance, we are getting you an ambulance but he kept refusing it.

The police say that he was giving them trouble and false information, while the injured mans accuses a by standing witnesses of lying.

This guy should have just complied with the police and he would have been on his way without injury. His friends didn’t seem to have a problem with any of the police at the scene.

This is the second time in as many weeks that I heard of this NGO - KISA. I get the impression that they are an extreme left-wing organization misappropriating the definition of racism to get exposure and further their "anti-facist" agenda. I have had a look at their website, and also a few of the other videos they have uploaded to their utube channel and some of it is not accurate. If they are not careful, they will turn in to the boy that cried wolf too many times and devalue their credibility and purpose.

Agree with the other comments, and GR!'s deciphering that a woman is saying something about her car.

But, the leg doesn't look broken in "several places" by the ease with which he raises it, even using his hands. Only the ankle looks turned back beyond most people's flexibility; nevertheless, my ankles can go backwards quite far. Probably just tendons stretched. Wish him well on the road to recovery - in Cyprus' top-notch hospitals.
