Treachery at it's best.

From the start of the article...

“All I know is that the Professor [minerologist Antonis Foskolos] is absolutely correct. I have the technical reports to prove it…..there is a secret deal whereby Turkey gets 40%, Greece 30%, Cyprus 20% and Brussels 10%.”

I don’t doubt Greece’s treachery with respect to Turkey against Cyprus but why would Cyprus be entitled to 20% of the alleged Crete find? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Anyway, it’s a very messy article that tries to tackle multiple issues at once and ends up as Greek spaghetti covered in Turkish sauce.

B25, why do you care what some blogger says? Who is John Ward? He could be erolz, VP or anyone else who writes junk.

- Even GR! is skeptical of the quality of the rant, and he would be the first to jump on any anti-Greek bandwagon, so I think he's spoken for all of us.

Sure and I agree with both of you, perhaps I should have also said 'if true'.

I did read it and was suspicious but posted it for the much better informed members to comment. Well, seems I got what I was looking for.

P.S Oi Elroz66 / VP did you write this btw????

A lot of propaganda concerning these oil discoveries, this story above has been all over the place. The disinformation is meant to demoralize. Kind of odd that it comes out a couple of days after Noble announces a 60 billion dollar find under the natural gas find... The Turks or their allies are probably behind it. It's a pattern that's been repeating itself for a long time

That's what I love about CF.

lets face it even with the law of the sea, if there is a dispute it has to be negotiated. if you sit on your arse and say it is all mine will get you nowhere. if greece will see a drop of any resources she will have to bend over and negotiate with the big boy and so will cyprus have to be. have you not woken up yet.
