... at Ingalls Shipbuilding (which from Wiki) is "a shipyard located in Pascagoula, Mississippi, USA, originally established in 1938, and is now part of Huntington Ingalls Industries. It is a leading producer of ships for the US Navy, and at 10,900 employees, the largest private employer in Mississippi."

Formerly the ship-building division of Northrop Grumman.

could that also mean the end of the usa's embargo of arms to Cyprus?

Yes and that's the question.

If they are being built in the States, how have they worked around the arms embargoes.

Not if they are branded as Israeli. If we buy them though we should agree on the maintenance cost, otherwise we will end up being screwed like in the case of the Russian helicopters.

The turks are between a rock and a hard place, basically going crazy that they are left out of the booty in the med., where they see their aspirations being threatened. Historically this is the point a country starts a war.

Historically the Turks had 'neutral' allies because of our alliance with Arabs, Greeks and communists.
We're a speck in the ocean, but if that is the case now, then they're dealing with real Israeli American interests, not Cypriots.

Forget the Republic of Cyprus, worry about the Americans and Israelis.
